The Battle of Marshall 150th Anniversary Commemoration was a year-long series of events (and it's not over yet) that included lectures, music, a period fashion show, a period tea and re-enactments. The purpose was to bring attention not only to the battle itself but to life in Marshall and Saline County during the Civil War years. Another important mission is to capture what we've learned along the way, to provide a record for future generations to consult as they learn about local history. So the first question is, What did we learn?
What did you learn?
